About Me
I'm a budding web developer with multitudes of experience in vastly different fields. Currently, I spend most of my spare time helping talented individuals and blossoming businesses with improving the design and experience of their webstores and websites as well as optimising them for speed and search results. I have spent a few years familiarising myself with the world of ecommerce while working in a support role for Neto eCommerce.
I studied for some time University of Queensland (UQ) in an IT and mechanical engineering program. I felt that engineering topics weren't my best interest although I did find many of the automation and data topics interesting. Mostly, I appreciated learning computational methods of solving problems which lead me into the programming world.
I’m always happy to learn something new, help others understand and tend to keep well organised. I also consider myself a fairly good cook and could spend another dozen paragraphs talking about food if I had the room.
Expertise
I have a variety of development skills ranging from front-end design, development and optimisation to server-side applications typically as headless node applications in Heroku or as full Firebase projects. I have years of experience in ecommerce too, in operations, coordination and development. Having spent many years in software support roles, I enjoy being hands on with clients and really digging down to find the best solution.

Feb 2018 - PresentAfter a year in the general support team at Neto I moved into an enterprise support role looking after Neto's XL subscription customers. I dealt with a smaller set of customers on a more regular basis which was more of a consulting nature rather than support.

I worked at ISGQ for just over a year assisting with infastructure projects, managing backups, administrating Office 365 environments and providing general support for customers. I also assisted the company with developing their website at the time.
